Photostats of autograph letters, signed, to his wife Josephine (1796-1800); to his foreign minister Talleyrand (1805-1807), to his mother, to his Commissaire ordonnateur Simon de Sucy (1795), to the duke of La Rochefoucault-Liancourt, ambassador at Vienna (1806), to his wife Marie-Louise (1814), to his Chief of Staff Marshal Berthier (1808), ambassador Pozzo di Borgo (1790). Also includes photostats of autograph letters, signed, by Eugène de Beauharnais to his mother Josephine (1806-1808) and autograph drafts of a speech to be made in Corsica and of a proclamation on entering Vienna for the second time in 1809.

Born Marie Josephe Rose Tascher de la Pagerie on the island of Martinique, she was married to Alexandre, Vicomte de Beauharnais in 1779. He was guillotined in 1794. She was introduced to Napoleon Bonaparte in 1795 and married him in 1796. He made her his empress in 1804, but divorced her in 1810.
